Maps and bridges for people, law and data

These are exciting, challenging, uncertain times for law, lawyers and legal services. The complexity — and the demands on individuals and organisations — are higher than ever. Social, economic and technological change add risk and opportunity.

 

We design and develop software to help people handle challenging, complex legal work. It supports a more effective, insightful, calm, less-distracted way of working that meets people’s real needs.

Why are we doing this anyway?

Anyone who works in law knows about the challenges of handling the work effectively and efficiently, and of sharing and improving how things are done.

 

This has already created immense problems of affordability and accessibility, coupled with huge performance pressure on individuals and organisations providing legal services.

 

Technology alone is not going to ‘solve’ this. It’s still just a tool: even AI. Improvement will come from people thoughtfully addressing how work is done and priced, and how we communicate and learn from experience. This includes generating better quality data for in-matter communication and wider learning.
